The Cone University Center is not responsible for lost, found, or damaged articles left in or around the facility. Any property left in the Cone University Center that has not been claimed within forty-eight (48) hours following an event will be considered abandoned by the user or its exhibitors. Cone Center may take possession of it and treat it as its own or dispose of such property without liability. Any cost associated in disposing of the abandoned property will be the responsibility of the user. Items left in the public areas will be kept temporarily at the Information Center, Room 369. Items are collected weekly by Campus Police and Public Safety at which point users should contact that department to retrieve their items.

Chalking is not permitted on the brick patios, building, or plaza of the Cone University Center. See the Student Organization Handbook for the full chalking policy. Groups are subject to any cleaning fees associated with the removal of unauthorized chalking and a referral to the Office of Student Conduct.
